What are golf alignment sticks?
Simply put, alignment sticks help with ones alignment. They are a training aid for golfers who, when practicing, can visually see where they’re hitting the ball. When standing over the ball prior to a shot, our eyes tend to adjust our vision of where we think the ball is going to go versus where it actually goes. Alignment sticks allow us to train our eyes and our body on the driving range so that when on the course, we can trust our line. Alignment sticks have many other benefits as well such as training swing path, swing plane, takeaway, foot placement in relation to the golf ball and much more.
What are our sticks made of?
Hazy Sticks golf alignment sticks are made of 100% hickory wood. Each stick is rolled out and inspected prior to staining, sanding and painting to ensure proper quality.
What is the length, diameter and weight of each alignment stick?
Each stick is 45” long and 3/8” thick. Each stick weighs around 2 ounces.
How durable are our alignment sticks?
Hickory is one of the stronger woods on the hardness scale. However, just like any wood, if hit hard enough it can break.
Can Hazy Sticks warp?
Just like any wood product, there is a possibility of warping over time. It’s best to keep them dry if possible and to not have them sit in an area where the climate often changes (ex. a car). With that said, we try to reduce the possibility of warping by coating each stick with a high quality clear coat finish.
Hazy Golf was founded by Justin Duchin, driven by his passion to create something personal that he could use and customize for others in the golf world.
With a love for building, creating, and tinkering, Justin set out to build a brand centered around customization. The name "Hazy Sticks" was inspired by his first-born daughter, Hazel, representing his personal connection to the brand. A few years later, after the birth of his second daughter, Georgia, Hazy Sticks evolved into Hazy Golf. The "HG" in Hazy Golf carries a dual meaning, honoring both the brand and the initials of his daughters, Hazel and Georgia. Justin’s goal has always been to create a brand that’s deeply rooted in family and community. Since 2020, he’s been working alongside close family and friends, helping the business grow and reach new heights.
The alignment sticks are more than just a training tool—they serve as a way for customers to reconnect with the past. Think of them as a memento. The customizations on the sticks can spark powerful memories, acting as uplifting reminders of meaningful experiences and people.
